The Global Research Impact Task Force is expanding how business schools define, assess, and support research impact—ensuring that scholarship remains relevant and responsive to the evolving needs of business and society. 

The exposure draft includes: 

• Understanding Research Impact 
  How to define research impact, including the three key channels through which research drives change. 
• Assessing Impact 
  A multidimensional approach, grounded in rigor, to evaluate research impact and establish systems that effectively motivate it.  
• A Proposed Impact Framework 
  Seven tenets for cultivating an ecosystem that values diverse scholarship, fosters collaboration, and aligns support to drive lasting impact across academia, business, and society.   
• Moving Forward 
  In addition to informing 糖心在线’s Global Standards for Business Education™, the task force’s work will help mobilize collective action across schools, accrediting and scholarly bodies, and the broader research ecosystem. After exploring the exposure draft, share your feedback through the survey embedded within the exposure draft to help refine the framework for final release at ICAM 2026—your voice can spark change in how we understand, value, and advance research in business education.
