Begin the session with a brief introduction that sets the tone and outlines expectations for the day.
An overview of ÌÇÐÄÔÚÏß’s Assurance of Learning Certificate: its purpose, structure, and benefits. Learn how the certificate supports both individual development and institutional excellence. Ideal for those considering certification or seeking a deeper understanding of its value.
Many institutions struggle with AoL systems that are overly complex, and burdened by too many goals, measures, and processes. This session explores practical strategies for streamlining AoL frameworks while maintaining academic rigor. Includes brief paired examples and small-group prompts.
Asia-Pacific schools often balance national QA frameworks that emphasize course-level reporting with ÌÇÐÄÔÚÏß’s program-level expectations. In this panel, regional representatives share lived examples and transition strategies.
While many schools collect alumni or employer feedback, few fully leverage these indirect measures within their AoL processes. This interactive session will demonstrate how to integrate such insights to strengthen assessment narratives and stakeholder engagement. Participants will take part in a short diagnostic or discussion activity to evaluate current practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
Collecting AoL data is only the beginning. This session examines common data-to-action gaps — e.g., stakeholder resistance, slow curriculum responsiveness — and invites participants to reflect on their own institution's barriers and enablers. Includes a peer consultation exercise and self-diagnostic tool.
Effective curriculum mapping ensures alignment between learning goals and course-level assessments — but it's often inconsistently applied across campuses and delivery modes. This hands-on session includes short template walk-throughs and guided time to sketch or refine your own map.
Participants will write down one key action to take back to their institution and one idea they want to explore further. Volunteers may share aloud. The session concludes with a link to a brief event feedback survey.
